Sice it was Philippe's birthday on October 31st, we decided to change the calm and peaceful surrounding and headed back to Santa Marta. The coastal town is well known for it's good food, it's busy harbour and it's parties. So, a great spot for a celebration! ;-) Although it's considered a pretty dangerous city, we really love the old town of Santa Marta. Outside of this part, it's quite ugly we think. But the good old old town would not disappoint us on Philippe's birthday. We booked a nice hotel, went for fantastic dinner at Ouzo's and went full on party the whole night. It's cool that they do celebrate Halloween too. ;-) Good times!
